On Wednesday, the Florida Lottery announced that Peter Dulas, 68, of Lake Placid, claimed a $1 million prize from the BILLION DOLLAR GOLD RUSH SUPREME Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000.00.

Dulas purchased his winning ticket from Petro Stopping Center, located at 7401 West Highway 318 in Reddick. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

On Thursday, the lottery announced that Carla Davis, 42, of Lakeland, claimed a $2 million prize from the POWERBALL® drawing held on June 22, 2022, at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the POWERBALL number.

Davis purchased her $2 million-winning POWERBALL with Power Play ticket from Sunny’s Citgo Mart, located at 2085 West Highland Street in Lakeland. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning POWERBALL ticket.

The next POWERBALL drawing will be held tonight, Saturday, October 8, at 10:59 p.m., ET, with an estimated $378 million jackpot. Tickets must be purchased by 10:00 p.m., ET to be eligible for this drawing.

On Friday, James Martin, 55, of Brooksville, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.

Martin shared that he plans to enjoy a nice, long ride on his motorcycle accompanied by his dog, Baby. “Once the weather clears up, me and Baby are gonna take off!”

Martin purchased his winning ticket from Rebel, located at 75 Broad Street in Brooksville. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $50 game, 500X THE CASH, features a top prize of $25 million—the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game—and the best odds to become an instant millionaire! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 77 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $1.8 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2021-22.
