Florida Man Arrested After Bizarre Ring Camera Performance With A Vacuum

Folks at a Kissimmee resort got much more than they bargained for this month when a local man was caught on camera in a series of extremely strange and revealing acts. Kevin Dale Westerhold, 51, finds himself in hot water with the law after neighbors reported him for exposing himself and allegedly engaging in a lewd “performance” with a household vacuum cleaner.

The drama unfolded at the Windsor Hills Resort, a private development just minutes away from the Orlando theme parks.

On Thursday, January 22, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a partially clothed man acting indecently outside a neighbor’s house. By the time deputies pulled up, the suspect had already cleared out, but he didn’t leave without a trace.

Neighbors handed over cell phone footage that detectives say clearly showed the man in the middle of a suggestive act with a vacuum.

As police started asking around, the story got even weirder. It turns out this wasn’t a one-time thing. Another report from just a day earlier described a man wandering through a shared hallway completely nude.

When investigators checked doorbell camera footage from around the neighborhood, they found a pattern of behavior dating back to December. In those earlier cases, frustrated residents had complained to the homeowner’s association, but the police hadn’t been called until now.

Detectives eventually linked the man in the videos to Westerhold, who lives in the development with his wife. The couple also reportedly manages an Airbnb in a nearby building.

After securing a warrant, authorities tracked Westerhold down in Oviedo, where he was arrested on Tuesday, January 27. He is currently facing charges for the exposure of sexual organs. In the state of Florida, this kind of behavior is a first-degree misdemeanor that can lead to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine for a first offense.

Westerhold was released after his arrest and is scheduled to appear before a judge next month. While no lawyer has been listed for him yet, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for more information.

They’re asking anyone else who might have had a run-in with the suspect or captured similar footage to give them a call at (407) 348-1100.
