A Florida man thought he could outrun the law, on a mini motorcycle, but was apprehended after a chase ended with the man hiding under a residence.

Over the weekend, a deputy with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office saw a mini motorcycle without lights driving north in the southbound lane of NE Jacksonville Road and East Highway 329.

A traffic stop was conducted, in which the driver, later identified as Jesse Vidal, 37, fled.

A vehicle pursuit was initiated and with the assistance of Air-1, the motorcycle was tracked to NE 22nd Court, where Jesse was located hiding underneath the residence.

Vidal, 37, was arrested and booked into the Marion County Jail on six charges including a warrant for failure to appear on a previous Grand Theft charge.
