A Florida man was arrested after he allegedly slapped a woman across the face with a slice of pizza during a heated argument, according to investigators.
Ortelio Lazaro Alfonso, 39, used the slice during a domestic disturbance, according to an arrest affidavit by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s affidavit, the female victim said Alfonso, 39, struck her with the slice of pizza on the left side of her face during a feud, the court documents said.

According to statements, Alfonso became upset that the woman hit another individual in the home “on his bottom area.”
According to deputies, pizza sauce made it onto the victim’s shirt, and the woman had chunks of pizza in her hair. Deputies located pizza on the walls and ceiling of the kitchen.
“The defendant advised he did not physically strike the victim with his hands, just with the pizza,” deputies wrote in the affidavit.
Alfonzo was charged with battery and later released from jail.
