Florida Man Claims $1,000,000 On 500X The Cash After Stop At 7-Eleven

The new $50 500X THE CASH scratch-off ticket seems to be the hottest game on the shelf! On Tuesday, The Free Press reported that in the first month the new tickets were available, 10 winners for $10,000,000 were announced.

The new $50 ticket features more than $1.5 billion in cash prizes and the best odds to become an instant millionaire. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.

On Thursday, according to the Florida Lottery, 55-year-old James Bruno was added to that list of winners.

Bruno of North Palm Beach claimed a $1 million prize from the new 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office.

According to the Florida Lottery, Bruno chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00. He purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 2490 PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The new $50 game, 500X THE CASH, features a top prize of $25 million-the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game-and the best odds to become an instant millionaire!

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 75 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $1.3 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2020-21.
