Florida Man Claims $2,000,000 On POWERBALL From Dec 12th Drawing

The Florida Lottery announced that Raymond Wynne, 63, of Venice, claimed a $2 million prize from the POWERBALL® drawing held on December 12, 2020 using a secured drop box located at the Tampa District Office.

The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Powerball number.

Wynne purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 535 Tamiami Trail South in Venice. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning POWERBALL ticket.

The $10 game, 100X THE CASH, launched in September 2020 and features more than $294 million in cash prizes, including ten top prizes of $2,000,000! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.50.

The next POWERBALL drawing will be held tomorrow at 10:59 p.m. ET with an estimated $78 million jackpot. National POWERBALL drawings are broadcast live, in high-definition, from the Florida Lottery’s state of the art draw studio in Tallahassee.

Florida Lottery game drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Drawings are also available for viewing on the Florida Lottery website. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.
