A 31-year-old Palm Coast man is in custody after allegedly hacking his ex-girlfriend’s accounts, tracking her movements, and stealing a stuffed animal containing her deceased son’s ashes following a brief relationship.
Justin Andrew Fountain was arrested on Aug. 1, 2026, by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. He faces multiple felony counts, including malicious threats, cyberstalking, accessing an electronic device without authority, and using a tracking application to facilitate stalking.
According to arrest affidavits from the Flagler Beach Police Department and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, the victim reported the harassment at the Flagler Beach Police Department on the evening of Aug. 1. She told officers she met Fountain on Facebook Dating, but ended their three-week relationship three days prior.
Though she initially permitted Fountain to stay at her Red Roof Plus hotel room in Palm Coast while she sought permanent housing, she revoked permission after finding smoking pipes and discovering he had used crack cocaine in the bathroom.
Following the split, the victim reported that Fountain accessed her Apple/iCloud, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and other personal accounts without authorization. The affidavit states Fountain used these accounts to post personal photos and send messages to her family and friends while impersonating her in an effort to isolate her.
The victim also reported several in-person confrontations. Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 1, Fountain unexpectedly appeared at her workplace, The Windsor in Palm Coast, brought her food, called her names, and peeled out of the parking lot. Later that afternoon, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Fountain approached the victim and a male friend inside a Culver’s restaurant on East Highway 100, causing a scene before leaving.
When the victim returned to her hotel room later that day, she found the door open, the room in disarray, and personal belongings missing. Among the missing items was a plush memorial bear with a zippered compartment holding a small urn with her late son’s cremated remains. Fountain also allegedly removed medically necessary insulin that the victim needed that evening.
While the victim was at the police station, Fountain sent threatening text messages to both her and her friend, including a photo of the memorial bear next to her damaged car. Police observed incoming messages and heard Apple “Find My” alerts repeatedly sounding from her phone, which officers placed inside a signal-blocking metal container to prevent further remote access.
In one text detailed in the affidavit, Fountain allegedly wrote, “I will not go away peacefully, Pl make every day of your life a living hell. I promise you.”
Other texts referenced the victim’s friend and the stolen remains: “If you want your son back, tell Buddy to leave now,” and “Five seconds and I’m gonna set this teddy bear on fire.” Later messages threatened to throw the bear out of a car window on Interstate 95.
Officers identified Fountain from a prior booking photo featuring a distinctive tattoo above his eyebrows that reads “GAME OVER.” Deputies located his vehicle—a gray Nissan Altima—traveling northbound on Interstate 95 near the county line and took him into custody.
Fountain is being held at the Flagler County Inmate Facility on a $61,000 bond. He has not yet entered a plea to the charges.
