Investigators say the man "battered" two store employees, and customers, in a vile attack that was caught on surveillance footage.

Police are searching for a man that thought it was ok to take what he wanted from a Home Depot, then beat the employees and customers who tried to stop him.

According to police, on April 18, 2022, a man waltzed into the Home Depot, located at 24201 Highway 27 in Lake Wales, Florida, to do some shopping.

Police say he loaded his cart with roughly $1,350 worth of merchandise and then attempted to bolt. That’s when store employees intervened and attempted to retrieve the stolen merchandise from the suspect.
