Florida Man Trespasses At High School To Pray In The Parking Lot

A Florida man who was accused of trespassing at a High School told police he wanted to pray in the school parking lot.

According to police, Brandon Quinones, 31, attempted to get into the parking lot at Ida Baker High School last Friday, during school hours.

Investigators say Quinones, in a Ford F-150 pickup truck, drove up to the school security guard and said that he was visiting the school and needed to be in the parking lot to pray.

According to police, Quinones threatened to hurt the security guard when he was instructed to make a U-turn and leave.

The school’s Resource Officer jumped in to assist, ordering Quinones off the property.

Quinones left the school property and headed toward the nearby middle school where the Resouce Officer was notified. But never arrived at that school.

Cape Coral police said that the next time Quinones goes to a  Lee County Public School without a valid reason, he will be issued a trespass warning.

In Lee County, Quinones has been arrested on charges ranging from DUI Hit and Run, and Battery.
