A quick stop at a convenience store has turned into a life-changing windfall for a Hendry County resident.
Agustin Garcia Guerrero, 58, of Labelle, is the state’s newest multi-millionaire after claiming a top prize in the Florida Lottery’s “$5,000,000 CA$H MONEY” game. Lottery officials announced the win today, confirming Garcia Guerrero traveled to Tallahassee earlier this month to collect his winnings.
He purchased the winning ticket at the Sunshine store located at 17100 Tamiami Trail East in Naples. The game costs $20 to play.
Presented with the choice between an annuity or an immediate payout, Garcia Guerrero opted for the one-time, lump-sum payment. He walked away with $3,053,000.00.

The “$5,000,000 CA$H MONEY” game features four top prizes of $5 million and has overall winning odds of 1-in-2.93.
According to state data, scratch-off games like this one remain a massive driver for the organization, accounting for about 74 percent of all ticket sales in the 2024-2025 fiscal year and generating billions for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
