A Florida man is wanted for abhorrent crimes against a minor child and investigators say he could still be in Florida or may have traveled to Georgia or Tennessee.
Deputies are searching for 34-year-old Steven Allen Monk.
Monk is wanted for 3 counts of Capital Sexual Battery on a Victim Under 12 Years of Age, Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition on a Victim Under 16 Years of Age, and Battery of a Child by Expelling Certain Bodily Fluids.
According to investigators, Monk spent 4 years sexually abusing a child who was under 12 years old, and now we’ve got a warrant for his arrest.

“This vile man does not need to be walking around freely. He needs to be in my jail. He may be here in Marion County but also in the Northwest Georgia or Southeast Tennessee areas. No matter where he is, we need to get him off the streets before he abuses another child,” said MCSO.
