TAMPA, Fla. – Larisa Olivera-Valenzuela has been located and is safe, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
ORIGINAL REPORT: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a statewide Missing Child Alert for 12-year-old Larisa Olivera-Valenzuela. Authorities in Tallahassee released the notification Thursday morning, March 20, 2026.
Due to an ongoing investigation, this case has been upgraded to a Missing Child Alert
Larisa was last seen in Tampa, specifically within the 8700 block of Key Biscayne Drive. Law enforcement officials describe her as a white-Hispanic female, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 125 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is leading the active search. While specific details regarding the nature of her disappearance have not been made public, the FDLE noted that the case was upgraded to a Missing Child Alert “due to an ongoing investigation.”
Members of the community are being asked to remain vigilant. Local law enforcement urges anyone who may have spotted Larisa or has any knowledge regarding her current location to act immediately.
“If you have any information on the whereabouts of this child please contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 813-247-8200 or 911,” the department stated in its official release.
