The search for Chase Biggers has ended with the best possible outcome.
Authorities confirmed Thursday that the 10-year-old, who was the subject of a Florida Missing Child Alert earlier in the day, has been located and is safe.
The alert was originally issued after Chase was reported missing from the 7400 block of Valencia Road in Sebring. Law enforcement has now formally cancelled the alert. No further details regarding the circumstances of his discovery were immediately released.
ORIGINAL REPORT: A Florida Missing Child Alert is now in effect for 10-year-old Chase Biggers, who has vanished from a Sebring neighborhood.
Law enforcement is currently searching the area near the 7400 block of Valencia Road, where the child was last spotted.
Chase is described as a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He stands 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 70 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black shirt paired with khaki shorts and black and white shoes.

Deputies with the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office are urging anyone who sees him or knows where he might be to act immediately.
