Gisselle Diaz-Maldonado has been located and is safe, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
ORIGINAL REPORT: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has issued a Missing Child Alert for 17-year-old Gisselle Diaz-Maldonado, who was last seen in Bradenton, Florida. Due to an ongoing investigation, this case has been upgraded to an official Missing Child Alert.
Gisselle Diaz-Maldonado is described as a white-hispanic female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing a purple shirt and black and white ripped jeans.
The teen was last seen in the 1800th block of Martin Luther King Avenue East in Bradenton. Authorities believe Gisselle may be in the company of a black male and that they may be traveling in a black two-door Honda vehicle.
The alert indicates that Gisselle may be headed toward, or is currently in, the Oakland Park, Florida area.
The Bradenton Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Gisselle Diaz-Maldonado to immediately contact them at 941-932-9377 or call 911.
