The Florida Missing Child Alert for 3-year-old Axel Caballero out of Seminole County has been canceled.
“It is with sadness to report the child has been found deceased. Please remember his family and friends during this difficult time,” said the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, the boy was found in a nearby retention pond.
SCSO’s dive team located the child.
A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert was issued for Axel Caballero, a white male, 3 years old, 3 feet tall, 50 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Axel was last seen in the area of the 1380 block of Ponce De Leon Boulevard in Winter Springs, Florida, who was last seen wearing a green shirt and a diaper.
