Florida Missing Child Alert Canceled For New Port Richey Teen, Located Safe

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Missing Child Alert issued for Giovanni Young has been canceled, and the child was located safe.


ORIGINAL REPORT: Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old boy who went missing out of New Port Richey.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement officially issued a Missing Child Alert for Giovanni Young. Authorities last saw the teenager in the 3900 block of Headsail Drive in New Port Richey. Investigators believe he might currently be traveling in the Hudson area.

Police describe Young as a Black-Hispanic male who stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

When he was last seen, Young was wearing brown Nike sweatpants and a black T-shirt. The shirt features blue flames, a golden angel, and the words “Lost Paradise.”

Young has a distinct sleeve tattoo covering his right arm. The tattoo includes the phrase, “Money bags, get rich or die.”

Law enforcement officials issued a specific warning regarding his recovery, stating, “If located, DO NOT APPROACH. Contact law enforcement immediately.”

Anyone who has seen Young or has information regarding where he might be should call 911 or contact the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office at 727-847-8102.
