Missing Miami 15-Year-Old Located Safe, Florida Missing Child Alert Canceled

MIAMI, Fla. – Abdul Olawale Jr. has been located and is safe, accordign to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Authorities in South Florida are asking for the public’s help to find a missing teenager last seen in Miami. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert early this morning for 15-year-old Abdul Olawale Jr., who disappeared from the 1600 block of Northwest 4th Avenue.

Investigators say Abdul is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs roughly 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. When he was last spotted, he was wearing a distinctive black hoodie featuring the words “Death Row” in black lettering. Underneath the hoodie, he wore a fluorescent white shirt, light blue shorts, high-ankle socks, and blue slippers.

Police believe the teen may be carrying a gray Nike backpack and could be traveling on an electric scooter. Local officers have been canvassing the neighborhood where he was last seen, but his current whereabouts remain unknown.
