Authorities in Lafayette County are asking for the public’s immediate help in locating 15-year-old Genesis Aguilar-Colindres, who has been reported missing from the Mayo area.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a formal Missing Child Alert after the teenager vanished from the 7000th block of Southwest County Road 534.
Genesis is described as a white-Hispanic female, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Investigators noted a distinct physical feature: a visible scar running from her eyebrow to her hairline.

When she was last seen, Genesis was believed to be carrying a black backpack. She may also have two specific pairs of shoes with her—black Crocs and white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.
