The Florida Missing Child Alert issued for Kloe Mathis and 14-year-old Jayda Mathis has been canceled. The girls have been located safe.
ORIGINAL REPORT: Authorities in Florida are asking for the public’s help to safely locate two young girls who disappeared from a Wesley Chapel neighborhood. A statewide Florida Missing Child Alert is officially active for 10-year-old Kloe Mathis and 14-year-old Jayda Mathis.
The two children were last seen near the 6800 block of Angus Valley Drive.
Kloe Mathis is a 10-year-old white female with blonde hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet tall and weighs 102 pounds. Kloe was last seen wearing a white shirt, black shorts, and light blue Crocs.
Jayda Mathis is a 14-year-old white female, also with blonde hair and brown eyes. She stands 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. When she was last seen, Jayda was wearing a black shirt, a red sweater, and dark-colored shorts.
Police are urging everyone in the area to pay attention to their surroundings. If you have any information at all on the whereabouts of either of these children, please contact the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 727-847-5878 or dial 911.
