Florida Representative Byron Donalds appeared on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow” Thursday to address the sliding approval numbers for Congressional Democrats. During the segment, Donalds argued that the party’s current standing with voters is a direct result of a lack of substantive solutions and a focus on political opposition rather than domestic stability.
The Congressman pointed to specific legislative and enforcement trends to explain the shift in public sentiment. “They have no policy. They have no solutions,” Donalds stated, claiming that the Democratic platform has shifted toward “trying to defund border security provisions” and hindering the deportation of “criminal illegal aliens.”
He further alleged that the party has supported “organized protests to stop federal law enforcement.”
Donalds suggested that the focus of Congressional Democrats has been misplaced on impeachment proceedings rather than addressing the economic and social issues that surfaced while they held full control of the government.

He specifically referenced the period when Chuck Schumer served as Senate Majority Leader alongside Joe Biden’s presidency, claiming they failed to fix “the issues they created.”
In a blunt assessment of the party’s current motivations, Donalds cited “Trump derangement syndrome” as the catalyst for disruptive actions.
According to Donalds, this mindset has led to “crazy things like shutting down the Department of Homeland Security and having long-wait lines at airports all across America.”
He concluded his remarks by asserting that these logistical and security challenges are being “brought to us by the Democrat Party.”
