The race for Florida’s Governor’s Mansion is heating up as Republican Byron Donalds added three more high-profile endorsements from the state legislature to his growing coalition today. State Representatives Tom Fabricio, JJ Grow, and Linda Chaney officially threw their weight behind the Naples Republican, further solidifying his position as the frontrunner in the primary field.
Representative Tom Fabricio, who represents District 110, praised Donalds as a “proven conservative fighter,” citing his track record on law enforcement and family-centric policies. Fabricio noted that Donalds has the “strength and leadership” required for the executive branch.
Echoing that sentiment, Representative J.J. Grow of District 23 linked his endorsement to the broader national movement, stating he is proud to stand with both Donalds and Donald Trump. Grow described Donalds as a “staunch fighter for the America First agenda” who has prioritized state prosperity and citizen-first values.

From District 61, Representative Linda Chaney looked toward the state’s long-term future, emphasizing Donalds’ reliability during times of crisis.
“Communities like mine can trust Byron Donalds will be their voice, will show up when disaster strikes and will work to defend our freedoms and our pocketbooks,” Chaney said in a statement.
These newest endorsements add to a massive roster of supporters that already includes President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the majority of Florida’s sheriffs.
Donalds also maintains the backing of 17 members of Florida’s Congressional delegation, U.S. House Leadership, and roughly 75% of the Republican caucus in the Florida House.
The announcement comes as recent polling suggests Donalds is maintaining a dominant lead over his potential Republican primary rivals and holds significant margins against Democratic opponents in hypothetical general election matchups. With the primary season approaching, Donalds appears to be successfully consolidating the GOP base behind his candidacy.
