Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) alleges a deliberate effort by the previous administration to sabotage the Trump presidency.
Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) appeared on Fox News Live Sunday, leveling strong accusations against the Obama administration for what he described as a “heinous and destructive” intelligence scheme aimed at undermining then-President-elect Donald Trump.
Donalds also highlighted the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s ongoing investigation into former President Biden’s cognitive abilities and alleged autopen usage.
During his interview, Donalds asserted that “senior officials in the Obama administration engaged in an intelligence scheme, an intelligence fraud, to undermine the incoming President of the United States at the time which was Donald Trump.”

He linked this alleged activity to persistent public misconceptions about Russian interference in the 2016 election, lamenting that “too many Americans still believe that.”
The Florida Congressman specifically pointed to an order from the Obama administration for a new intelligence briefing “not based on any facts or any merits but based upon the Steele Dossier.”
Donalds argued that this action, occurring while Joe Biden served as Vice President, explains why the subsequent Biden administration did not investigate these matters, suggesting they were “covering up for the previous Democratic administration.”

Donalds also detailed the House Oversight Committee’s current efforts to investigate former President Biden’s cognitive decline and the alleged widespread use of an autopen for official documents during his presidency.
This investigation aims to determine whether executive power was exercised unconstitutionally without the full awareness of the president.
