Rep. Byron Donalds Discusses Immigration, Trade, and Space Exploration on Fox Across America
Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) appeared on Fox News Radio’s “Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla,” where he weighed in on a range of topics, including the upcoming NASA-SpaceX mission, a new trade deal with the European Union, and immigration policy.
During the interview, Donalds addressed the issue of illegal immigration, advocating for a “self-deport” policy.
He stated that it is “better for you and better for America” if individuals in the country illegally choose to leave on their own accord. He also reinforced Florida’s stance on the issue, stating that if illegal immigrants are apprehended in the state, they will be held and prepared for deportation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The conversation also turned to the economy and a recent trade deal with the European Union negotiated by the Trump administration. Donalds lauded the deal as a “recipe for a booming economic strategy,” arguing that it ensures the U.S. is “in the pole position” and prevents other countries from taking advantage of American markets.
He highlighted the deal’s impact on American businesses and workers, citing a strong economic foundation, lowered inflation, and tax policies that benefit businesses and increase wages, particularly for those at the lower end of the economic ladder.

The congressman also touched upon the upcoming NASA-SpaceX Crew 11 mission to the International Space Station, a testament to the continued collaboration between the government and private sector in space exploration.
