Florida Representative Calls Out Continued Fallout from 2016 Election and Questions White House Competency Amidst Oversight Investigations
Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) appeared on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom” Wednesday morning, launching strong accusations against the Obama administration for what he described as the “weaponization of the intelligence community” against President Donald Trump.
Donalds also weighed in on Hunter Biden’s recent interview with the Channel 5 Podcast, asserting that the younger Biden “has no credibility.”
During his interview, Donalds posited that the alleged actions by the Obama administration stemmed from an inability to accept the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

“They just could not get over the fact that Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton,” Donalds stated, emphasizing that this was an attempt to halt the “radical left from continuing their policies.”
Shifting his focus to Hunter Biden, the Florida Congressman challenged the validity of his recent remarks.
“Hunter Biden has no credibility,” Donalds declared, inviting him to appear before the Oversight Committee.
Donalds linked Hunter Biden’s public statements to broader concerns about the competency of the current administration, referencing individuals from the Biden White House who have invoked the Fifth Amendment during congressional inquiries.

“Look, at the end of the day, we know that Joe Biden wasn’t mentally capable of discharging his duties,” Donalds asserted, citing the reluctance of White House officials to answer questions about the former president’s “competency.”
He contended that the Biden family and White House “covered up the fact that his dad, the former president, did not have the capability to do his job and that family and White House covered it up to retain power. That is a complete disrespect to the American people.”
Congressman Donalds’ comments underscore ongoing tensions surrounding past and present administrations, particularly concerning the use of intelligence agencies and the scrutiny of the Biden family’s affairs.
