Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna dropped a bombshell Wednesday, claiming the CIA stepped well outside its lane to seize sensitive records regarding the JFK assassination and the MK-ULTRA mind-control program.
During an appearance on NewsNation’s “Katie Pavlich Tonight,” Luna described the incident as an “internal coup” carried out while the president was out of the country, sparking immediate calls for a congressional investigation.
The drama centers on boxes of documents allegedly held by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). According to Luna, these files were supposed to be part of a full declassification ordered by the president.

“The CIA has famously said that, you know, all documents were released and other documents had been destroyed,” Luna told Pavlich. “So these are allegedly those documents that apparently never existed.”
The timeline and nature of the event saw some clarification following the initial report. While the term “raid” was floated, Pavlich later clarified that the seizure actually occurred last year during a government shutdown.
CIA personnel reportedly entered a warehouse in the middle of the night and removed the records, which have yet to be returned to the ODNI. Because the CIA is currently withholding these files, they remain stuck in a bureaucratic limbo, unable to be scanned or released to the public as originally intended.
Luna isn’t letting the matter slide. She confirmed she has already coordinated with House Oversight Chairman James Comer to issue a formal preservation of documents request to the CIA.
“I have called into the White House, to the director of the CIA himself,” Luna added, noting the strangeness of a sub-agency working against an executive order.
The standoff raises significant legal questions regarding jurisdiction. When asked if the CIA had the authority to move on Tulsi Gabbard’s warehouse in such a manner, Luna was blunt, stating that the agency has no authority to bypass a presidential order.
For now, the files remain missing from the public record, leaving the long-awaited truth about MK-ULTRA and JFK behind closed doors.
