President Joe Biden, his administration, and most Democrats claim white conservatives are the biggest threat facing the country.
But Sen. Marco Rubio suggests otherwise.
Americans should worry most about people radicalized by liberals’ anti-Israel rhetoric flowing in the wake of last month’s attack on Israel by the terrorist group Hamas, he argued.
In an interview on Tuesday with the conservative website The Floridian, the Florida Republican identified Palestinian or Hamas sympathizers as the “most immediate threat” to Americans. Rubio said he fears some among that group may soon turn to more violent tactics to show support for the Oct. 7 attacks on Israel that killed more than 1,200 Jews and the “decolonization” of the Gaza Strip.

“The most immediate threat we have from terrorism today are people that decide this week they’re not going to tear down posters and march, chanting stupid things, anymore,” said Rubio.
“They’re going to take the next step and actually kill somebody, whether it’s a public official, whether it’s a Jew, whether it’s attacking a synagogue — that’s the threat, somebody that would be inspired by these events to take violent action,” he added.
“When you’re in the streets, chanting things like ‘Intifada’ or ‘From the river to the sea,’ what you’re basically calling for is attacking and killing Jews,” added Rubio. “That’s the most immediate threat.”
Rubio said the world is filled with terrorists who want to commit a “spectacular” strike against the U.S.
Yet what makes him worry most is the possibility that someone “inspired” by current events and the leftist, pro-Hamas rhetoric will commit violence — a concern that is exacerbated by President Joe Biden’s open-borders policy.
One almost comical example of Rubio’s point, as reported last week by the Tampa Free Press, was Ruba Almaghtheh, an Indianapolis woman who smashed her car into the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge.
The school was adorned with a Star of David, and Almaghtheh, a Muslim, believed it was a Jewish school. Yet it belonged to the Black Hebrew Israelites, a radical anti-Semitic group. No one was hurt in the attack.

Rubio said he’s concerned about the “getaways” at the border who may be coming here on a mission to do harm, or may illegally arrive in America already believing in the rhetoric of Hamas and its supporters.
Rubio cited the Tsarnaev brothers, the bombers who killed three and injured hundreds more with homemade bombs at the 2013 Boston Marathon, as an example of sympathizers of radical Islam who lived in America and yet had not been back to their native land in years.
“Just because you want to live in America doesn’t mean you don’t sympathize with Hamas. Just because you want to live in America doesn’t mean you’re pro-Western. Just because you want to live in America, or move to America, or immigrate to America, does not mean you’ve left behind your views about Israel,” said Rubio.
