Florida Senator Rick Scott is championing the U.S. military’s bold capture of Nicolás Maduro as a definitive victory for American security, praising the operation as “Peace Through Strength” in action.
Following a Saturday morning briefing with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Scott lauded the precision of the strike, framing it as a long-overdue consequence for a dictator who ignored repeated warnings.
According to Scott, the message to the world is undeniable: President Trump is a man of his word, and the United States has zero tolerance for terror regimes.

“Maduro was indicted in a U.S. Court and was told to stop sending drugs into our country to kill our kids and grandkids, but he refused,” Scott stated. “Today, America and the world are a safer place.”
While Scott focused on the successful removal of a “narco-terrorist,” President Trump took to Fox News to fire back at Democrats who are already complaining about procedural red tape.
Trump dismissed critics in Congress as “weak” for questioning the legality of the strike, arguing they are more interested in obstruction than acknowledging a “genius” military success.

With the dictator and his wife now in U.S. custody aboard the USS Iwo Jima and en route to face justice in New York, the administration is moving quickly to secure the region.
Trump vowed that the U.S. will remain heavily involved in Venezuela’s transition to ensure the country doesn’t fall back into the hands of America’s enemies.
