Florida Sheriff Offers ‘Trip to Jail’ For Your Christmas List

Have you ever wanted to give that special relative or friend a Notice to Appear to the jail? Here’s your chance to give one for Christmas.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office is offering a ticket to see the newest processing center. Each ticket provides the opportunity to inspect the newest, most state-of-the-art facility, the Sheriff’s Processing Center, during a specified time for a guided tour. 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office said, “Our very best jail cooks will be serving up special vittles, like our famous cookies and jail punch! Order prior to December 18, 2020 to receive this unique gift in time for Christmas morning!”

Included Penalties in Your Arrest Packet:

  • A one-time opportunity for a guided tour of Sheriff Judd’s state-of-the-art jail facility.
  • An arrest photo opportunity with event props that look mighty like the Sheriff himself!
  • A keepsake arrest document with good behavior! 

Once purchased, you will receive your fictitious “warrant” in the mail to serve to the person of your choice. These will be nicely printed on cardstock and will make excellent stocking stuffers! 

The event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, January 30th, 2021. This date is subject to change due to unforeseeable construction delays, however, your appointment time will remain the same. The specific appointment times are subject to availability due to social distancing requirements.

**Attendees must bring their “warrant” and the accompanying letter for admission** which you will receive in the mail after purchase. 

Children under 10 years of age are free.

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing restrictions, masks are encouraged while in the facility.
