LARGO, Fla. – Valerie Renee Varner, the 69-year-old woman reported missing from unincorporated Largo on Thursday, has been located. Authorities confirmed that Varner is safe.

A Silver Alert was originally issued after Varner was last seen around 2:00 P.M. on March 5, 2026, at 11520 110th Street. Deputies had expressed concern for her wellbeing due to a dementia diagnosis, noting she had likely left her residence on a black Sun bicycle.

Following her disappearance, Varner was entered into the Florida Crime Information Center as a missing and endangered adult. Law enforcement has since updated her status, confirming that she has been found and is no longer considered missing.

ORIGINAL REPORT: The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for Valerie Renee Varner, 69, who went missing Thursday afternoon from unincorporated Largo. Varner was last seen at approximately 2:00 P.M. on March 5, 2026, at 11520 110th Street.

Deputies report that Varner likely left her home on a black Sun-brand bicycle. She is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue shirt and dark jeans characterized by a hole in the knee.

According to deputies, Varner suffers from dementia. Because of her condition, she has been entered into the Florida Crime Information Center (FCIC) as a missing and endangered adult.

Law enforcement officials are asking the public to remain observant. Anyone with information regarding Valerie Renee Varner’s current whereabouts is requested to contact the Sheriff’s Office or local emergency services immediately.
