Florida Silver Alert Canceled For Missing Winter Haven Woman, Located Safe

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Carolyn Shireman, who was reported missing, has been located safe, according to Winter Haven Police.

“Thank you to everyone who assisted with her safe recovery,” WHPD said in a statement.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 82-year-old Winter Haven woman diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Carolyn Shireman was last seen at her Palma Ceia Circle residence on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, around 11:15 a.m.

Ms. Shireman is believed to be driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue with a Georgia license plate CUG9536. She was described as wearing a royal blue shirt with khaki/white shorts and tennis shoes.

The vehicle was last spotted late Wednesday night, October 29, at approximately 9:14 p.m., in the area of the I-75 and I-275 interchange, traveling south.

Police say that there has been no activity on her credit or debit cards since her disappearance.

Anyone with information regarding Carolyn Shireman’s whereabouts or who may have seen her or her vehicle is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
