A Florida teen is behind bars for the attempted murder of a mother and her three children.
Jaquareous Duncan, 17, has been arrested for four counts of attempted murder after an investigation revealed that Duncan was the suspect.
According to police, on March 19, Ocala Police Department received a 9-1-1 call about a shooting that occurred outside near NW 12th Ave. and NW 4th St.
Moments before the shooting, three kids were playing in a field with their mother nearby.
Investigators say that at a stop sign, Duncan was standing next to a faded Dodge Ram pickup truck. Then, Duncan was seen firing shots in the direction of the mother and three children.
Luckily, no one was injured. Duncan then got into the passenger side of the pickup truck and drove off.
Detectives began their investigation, and Duncan was positively identified as the shooter. Duncan was located and arrested for four counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a delinquent.
