A 19-year-old Florida man is behind bars following a multi-agency crackdown on human trafficking in the Tallahassee area.
Craig Kristian Pringle was taken into custody on April 8 at his home in Quincy by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the U.S. Marshals Service North Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Pringle faces several charges, including one count of attempted human trafficking for commercial sexual activity, use of a computer to solicit a minor, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
The arrest stems from an undercover investigation dubbed “Operation Cupid’s Cleanup.” According to authorities, Pringle reached out to an investigator who was posing as a minor online. During their interactions, Pringle allegedly attempted to solicit nude photographs from the undercover agent.

This specific operation lasted four days and brought together a heavy-hitting coalition of law enforcement, including FDLE agents, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, the Tallahassee Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations.
The primary goal of the task force was to disrupt active human trafficking networks operating throughout the region.
Following his arrest, Pringle was transported to the Leon County Jail. The State Attorney’s Office for the Second Judicial Circuit has taken over the case and will handle the prosecution.
While Pringle is currently in custody, officials noted that the investigation into “Operation Cupid’s Cleanup” remains active.
