Florida Tornado Warnings in Effect, Eta Downgraded to Tropical Storm

Conditions for a tornado to develop will be in place through 5 pm for Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee, and Desoto County, according to the National Weather Service.

Hurricane Eta has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm, with dry air invading the center of Eta. The storm has peaked, which is the good news. Strong winds, gusts, and surge along with tornado threat continues, which is the bad news.
