A Florida woman found herself behind bars after deciding to sell her neighbors Ford F-150 to a local scrapyard.
According to police, Rosalee Baker, 55, St. Petersburg, called a local recycling company to make the deal and completed a cancellation of the title of her neighbors truck as well as a completed bill of sale for $300.
The only problem was, Baker didn’t own the truck.
Police say the truck was towed to the scrapyard but was soon reported stolen by the rightful owner, and the sale of the truck was easily traced back to Baker.
Baker faces charges of Grand Theft and a felony charge of False Verification of Ownership.
