A Florida woman was arrested for allegedly punching her girlfriend after hearing her talking about her ‘ex’ while sleeping.
Alexis Talley, 23, was arrested Sunday shortly after 10:30 p.m. after officers responded to a neighbor’s report of a “fight in progress” at the apartment she shares with her girlfriend in Dunedin, Florida.
The victim, whose name was redacted from the arrest report, told deputies she was sleeping when Talley woke her up and “told her she was talking in her sleep about an ex” and said they began arguing verbally “before Alexis began to punch her in the face”.
According to deputies, the victim “had visible swelling” on the right side of her face which seemed consistent with her statement.
After being arrested, Talley told deputies the two had argued verbally after she heard her girlfriend “talking in her sleep about an ex,” but claimed it didn’t get physical.
Talley was being held on a $2,500 bond and was released Tuesday from the Pinellas County Jail.
