A Florida woman is going into this Easter weekend with an extra $2,000,000, after scratching off a $10 50X scratch-off from the Florida Lottery.
The Florida Lottery announced that Yodelmy Lopez Leyva, of Miami, claimed a $2 million top prize from the $2,000,000 50X CASHWORD Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Miami District Office.
She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,760,000.00.
Lopez Leyva purchased her winning ticket from La Favorita Discount, located at 2742 Southwest 8th Street in Miami. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The overall odds on the $2,000,000 50X CASHWORD Scratch-Off Game are 1-in-3.37.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 75 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $1.3 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2020-21.
