The Florida Lottery has officially launched a new scratch-off game, “AMERICA 250 FLORIDA,” to mark the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. The game serves as a tribute to the country’s semi-quincentennial while highlighting the specific history and heritage of the Sunshine State.
Players can choose from three distinct ticket designs titled “Find Your Own Fountain of Youth,” “Gulf of America,” and “Free State of Florida.”
Beyond the patriotic themes, the game features a top prize of $1 million. According to officials, there are more than 3.9 million winning tickets in circulation, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 4.01. The game also includes a multiplier feature and an instant-win $250 option.
Reginald D. Dixon, the Acting Florida Lottery Secretary, characterized the release as a dual-purpose initiative.

“AMERICA 250 FLORIDA is more than a game, it’s a celebration of our nation’s history and the opportunities that define the American experience,” Dixon said. He noted that the game continues the lottery’s primary mission of funding education throughout the state.
Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd, who also chairs the America250FL Commission, praised the collaboration.
“No other state in the nation is doing more to celebrate America’s founding than Florida,” Byrd stated. “I am grateful to the Florida Lottery for bringing the America250FL celebration to their scratch-off games which attract millions of players each year.”
The financial impact of scratch-off games remains a major driver for Florida’s economy and school systems. In the 2024-2025 fiscal year, scratch-offs accounted for roughly 74 percent of all lottery ticket sales.
Since the Florida Lottery began, these games have generated over $20.98 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) and produced more than 2,400 millionaires.
The new tickets are available now at lottery retailers across the state.
