“We are currently on scene investigating an explosion of a food truck at Riverside Park The food truck was participating as a vendor in this weekend ‘s Seafood Festival, which is being held inside Riverside Park.,” said Vero Beach Police Department in a statement.

According to police, one person was severely burned and has been flown to Arnold Palmer’s Hospital Burn Unit in Orlando for treatment.

Indian River County Fire Rescue and the State Fire Marshall's Office Investigator responded to the scene to investigate the cause of the explosion.
