Tampa Tunes into ‘FOX & Friends’
TAMPA, Fla. – According to Nielsen data for the second quarter of 2025, FOX News Media’s flagship morning program, FOX & Friends, has emerged as the most-watched morning show in the Tampa market. The program, hosted by Ainsley Earhardt, Brian Kilmeade, Lawrence Jones, and Steve Doocy, surpassed all competitors from both broadcast and cable news networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC.
The report indicates that during Q2’25, FOX & Friends captured an 18% share of total TV viewing among P2+ (Persons 2 and older) in the Tampa area.
This translates to a 29% share of the audience when compared directly against its primary rivals. The program also commanded a significant 62% share of all cable news viewings with P2+ in the market.
Nationally, FOX & Friends delivered 1.4 million total viewers and 185,000 in the key 25-54 demographic, outperforming other network daytime programs such as ABC’s GMA3, NBC’s Jenna and Friends, and The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The program’s ratings momentum is also highlighted by its performance against CBS Mornings. While a ratings gap still exists between the two, FOX & Friends is reportedly closing in on the broadcast program and is now beating it in nearly half of Nielsen’s metered markets. This comes amid reports of a “shaky future” for CBS Mornings and public comments from Donald Trump regarding host Gayle King.
The morning success is part of a larger trend for the network.
FOX News’ dominance extends to primetime, where the network has been the most-watched in all of television since the start of summer (June 20, 2025 – August 3). Delivering 2.9 million viewers in weekday primetime, FOX News surpassed NBC (2.6 million viewers) and both CBS and ABC (2.1 million viewers each).
