Fox News Media has expanded its roster of political commentators, announcing Tuesday that Reince Priebus has signed on as a political analyst. The former White House Chief of Staff will contribute commentary across the network’s various platforms, with his first appearance scheduled for this evening on Hannity at 9 p.m. ET.

Priebus brings decades of high-level experience within the Republican Party to the network. Best known for his tenure as Chairman of the Republican National Committee from 2011 to 2017, he played a pivotal role in the party’s infrastructure before serving as President Trump’s first White House Chief of Staff in 2017.

He has remained active in national politics since leaving the West Wing, most recently serving as Chairman of the host committee for the 2024 Republican National Convention. His media resume also includes a recent stint as a political analyst for ABC News.

Outside of broadcasting, Priebus is the President of the law firm Michael Best & Friedrich LLP and Chairman of Michael Best Strategies.

His current portfolio includes roles on the LA28 Olympic Board and President Trump’s Intelligence Advisory and Oversight boards. He also serves as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

The hiring reinforces the lineup at Fox News, which remains the highest-rated network in cable and has held the top spot in television news for nearly 24 consecutive years.
