59-year-old sought on multiple felony drug charges taken into custody without incident
LAKELAND, Fla. – A midday operation on Thursday, September 25th, led to the arrest of a wanted individual in Lakeland, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).
At approximately noon, PCSO deputies arrived at a residence on Mineola Drive with the intent to locate and apprehend 59-year-old Tova Louise Rasmussen.
Rasmussen was sought on a Polk County warrant carrying several serious felony drug charges.
The warrant listed charges of Trafficking in MDMA, Keeping Structure/Vehicle for Trafficking, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Alprazolam, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Deputies successfully located Rasmussen at the residence. She was taken into custody without incident and subsequently transported to the Sheriff’s Processing Center to be booked on the outstanding warrant.
