Polk County Sheriff’s Deputies Apprehend 23-Year-Old Wanted for Grand Theft Motor Vehicle, Burglary
LAKELAND, Fla. – A 23-year-old Lakeland man, Ismael Yandel Febles Serrano, was taken into custody late Monday night by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) on an active warrant out of Hillsborough County.
The PCSO was contacted by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) on Monday, September 29th, with a request to locate and arrest Serrano. He was wanted on a warrant for Violation of Probation stemming from original charges of Grand Theft Motor Vehicle, Criminal Mischief, and Burglary.
Polk County deputies began their search at approximately 10:45 p.m., arriving at a residence on Highland Street in west Lakeland. After learning that Serrano was not at home, deputies tracked him to a nearby restaurant where he is employed.
Serrano was located at his place of employment and was arrested without incident on the outstanding Hillsborough County warrant. He was taken into custody by the PCSO and is being held pending transfer to Hillsborough County.
