POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A woman wanted on ten felony and misdemeanor charges in Georgia was taken into custody without incident by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) on Saturday evening at a vacation resort in Davenport, Florida.
Julie Danielle Freeman, 44, of McDonough, Georgia, was apprehended at the Solterra Resort after PCSO deputies were requested to locate the wanted person.
Freeman was sought on an outstanding warrant from Newton County, Georgia, charging theft of services and account fraud.
PCSO deputies successfully located Freeman at approximately 7:45 p.m. on October 25th. She was promptly taken into custody, effectively ending her time on the run.
This is reportedly the third arrest for Freeman in a two-month period, as she faces legal troubles related to her former businesses in Newton County, Georgia. Authorities in Georgia had been seeking her on 10 charges before she was located and detained in Florida.
Freeman is currently being held in the Polk County Jail pending extradition back to Newton County, Georgia, to answer for the outstanding warrant.
