PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 72-year-old Gainesville man was killed in a crash that happened around 3:30 pm in Pasco County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2017 Dodge Caravan southbound on I-75, south of Blanton Road.
For unknown reasons, the man failed to negotiate a curve, traveled onto the west grass shoulder of the highway, and struck a tree.

Troopers say the vehicle caught fire, and the driver suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.
