A Georgia mother has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the horrific murders of her two young sons.
Lamora Williams, 24, of Atlanta, was convicted by a jury on 14 charges, including two counts of murder, cruelty to children, felony murder, aggravated assault, concealing the death of another, and making a false statement.
The charges stem from the October 2017 deaths of her sons, 1-year-old Ja’Karter Penn and 2-year-old Ke’Yaunte Penn. Williams initially called police claiming to have found her sons dead with intense injuries, including burn marks.

She later admitted to placing them in a hot oven.
Williams’ defense argued that she suffered from undiagnosed mental health issues, citing a recent miscarriage, the departure of her partner, and the death of her father as contributing factors. However, the jury ultimately found her guilty of the heinous crimes.
