Guardrail Impact Ends In Tragedy For Bradenton Motorcyclist On US-41 In Ruskin

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 61-year-old man from Bradenton lost his life late Saturday afternoon following a single-vehicle accident in Ruskin. Florida Highway Patrol investigators report that the incident occurred at approximately 4:51 PM on April 25, 2026, as the man was traveling northbound on US-41.

According to authorities, the man was operating a Honda motorcycle just north of Saffold Park Road when he lost control of the bike for unknown reasons. The motorcycle veered off the pavement and entered the center median, where it struck a guardrail.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash, but the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed the rider suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the site.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and investigators have not yet released the name of the deceased pending family notification.
