HAINES CITY, Fla. – The Haines City Police Department is currently investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
The incident took place in the vicinity of Avenue I and 12th Street North. In a statement released Sunday morning, police confirmed that no officers were injured during the event.
Furthermore, the department stressed that there is no ongoing threat to the public regarding the shooting.
Authorities have not released any further details at this time as the investigation remains active.
