Missing Teen In Land O’ Lakes Located Safe

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Maida Jones has been located and is safe, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.

ORIGINAL REPORT: The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a 14-year-old girl who went missing Friday afternoon. Maida Jones was last seen around 2:30 p.m. on April 3 in the vicinity of Village Lakes Shopping Center Drive in Land O’ Lakes.

Deputies have classified Jones as a missing runaway. She is described as being 5’1” tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

When she was last spotted, she was wearing a red sweater, blue jeans, and sandals.
