Hernando County Animal Services to Reopen for Walk-in Traffic, No Appointment Required

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – The Hernando County Animal Services (HCAS) shelter, located at 19450 Oliver Street in Brooksville, will reopen to the public for walk-in traffic, with no appointment required, beginning October 27, 2020.

For the safety of all, proper safety and sanitization practices will continue be followed. This will limit the number of customers allowed in the building at a given time. HCAS asks for your patience as they make these adjustments to provide a safe environment for their animals, staff and visitors.

HCAS hours are Tuesday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. 3 p.m. Contact HCAS at (352) 796-5062 for additional information.
