DADE CITY, Fla. – The barricade situation in Dade City has ended peacefully, according to Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were involved in a situation on Orchid Parkway In Dade City, Hernando County, that evolved into a Barricaded Subject. It was originally a person considering self-harm, according to deputies.
At this time, deputies are attempting to establish a dialogue with the subject.
“Again, neighbors are requested to remain indoors, unless otherwise directed. Others are requested to avoid the area, as several roadways are closed in the area,” said HCSO originally in a media alert.
